I really resonate with this, Ana 💛

Congrats Ana for the new chapter! The transition can be both exciting and unsettling. I remember the first few weeks after my maternity leave, it was chaotic, not only the tasks but also the mental readiness. But be assured that you will adjust to it well. Please take time to find the rhythm. Then it will be much smoother. Congratulations again!

I am trying to work almost full time, write and raise three kids and be a good wife. I would like to work less, or be paid more to have writing for my job. It's a busy season! Going back to work IS a bit adjustment after being a SAHM!

I’m on the reverse of this journey. I’d spent my whole career working for different organizations. Three days before we had our eighth child that all changed.

Now I’m figuring out how to readjust and figure my way around doing my own thing.

Never thought I’d be here but God seems to be lighting up my path one step at a time.

Oh, yes. I resonate with this so much, parting with a season of life can bring a lot of dysregulation and mourning of a what is now in the past. I'm about to make a big life transition moving from a big city to a small town. I'm feeling both ready and reluctant. This spoke to me, thank you for sharing!

And big congratulations on your new position - that's very exciting! I'll be praying for a smooth transition.

Congratulations on your new job! The pull between motherhood and work must be hard. Thank you for sharing the reality of how change and transition actually affects families. In time, all will adjust.
