I love your thoughts here, Ana. Having themes for each month is a great idea.
We are currently having a lovely warm winter here in Kansas, so my theme for Jan would probably be OUTSIDE because, oh the benefits of sunshine, fresh air...
Wow. This landed in my inbox at JUST the right time. I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed because my family has just recovered from the flu, and I feel so behind on life. I have so many things I want to catch up on and simply can't. I think my January focus is administration: schedule appointments, fill out some paperwork, make requests for lost personal document. All other things will have to wait until February (and so on). Thank you for this helpful post! :)
Jasmine, I’m so glad this arrived at the right moment for you. Recovering from illness already takes so much, and it makes complete sense that January needs to be practical and gentle.
I think for the month of January I am going to focus on rest and my health. This is difficult for me sometimes as I always feel I should be "doing" something. But, I need to replenish my reserves so I can be available for the things God wants me to do.
Interesting. I will try to do that. I guess we have some big plans for the year, that requires the routines to change, and will have some “chores” that can be spread over the 12 months.
I also like the weekend themes. Will definitely start using that.

Tanya, I love this so much. Outside feels like such a wise January theme!!
Great post for this time of year, Ana! I’m sure it will inspire many of your readers, sweet friend!
Thank you, Brooke. Your encouragement means more than you know.

“If you’re starting this year feeling tired, unsure, or overwhelmed by expectations, I want you to know this: planning can serve you.
It doesn’t have to demand more from you than you can give.”
Such wise words!
"Instead of asking, What do I want to accomplish this year? I started asking, What does this season require from me?" - I love this!
